Accounting Operations Specialist

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced accounting operations specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial record-keeping, financial statement preparation, and reconciliation.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and completeness of financial records, preparing and reviewing financial statements, and maintaining a high level of attention to detail.

This is a critical role that requires excellent organizational skills, strong analytical abilities, and a solid understanding of financial principles.

Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and review financial statements, including balance sheets and income statements
  • Ensure the accuracy and completeness of financial records, including accounts payable and accounts receivable
  • Reconcile bank statements and other financial data
  • Maintain a high level of attention to detail and ensure compliance with financial regulations
  • Provide exceptional customer service and support to internal stakeholders
  • Assist in the development and implementation of process improvements and cost-saving initiatives
  • Perform other duties as required by management
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in accounting operations, preferably in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong knowledge of financial principles, including GAAP and financial statement analysis
  • Excellent organizational and analytical skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously
