Ecommerce Website Development Role

Our company is looking for an ecommerce website development specialist to develop, maintain and optimize the e-commerce platform of a pre-IPO cookware brand endorsed by Gordon Ramsay.

Main Responsibilities
  • eCommerce Platform Management: Develop and maintain our e-commerce website ensuring functionality, performance, and scalability.
  • Front-end and Back-end Development: Work on coding, debugging, and implementing new features for both front-end and back-end tasks.
  • Content Management: Manage and update website content using a content management system (CMS) ensuring all information is current and accurate.
  • eCommerce Functionalities Integration: Integrate e-commerce functionalities like shopping carts, payment gateways, and third-party plugins to enhance the online shopping experience.
  • Website Performance Optimization: Monitor and optimize website speed, responsiveness, and overall site efficiency.
  • SEO and Analytics: Implement SEO best practices and track website performance using analytics tools, providing insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Experience: At least 2 years in ecommerce website development preferably in retail or direct-to-consumer environment.
  • eCommerce Platforms and CMS: Experience with ecommerce platforms like Shopify, Magento, WooCommerce and CMS like WordPress.
  • SEO Principles and Web Analytics: Strong understanding of SEO principles and web analytics tools like Google Analytics.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Strong communication and collaboration skills.
