Job Overview

A Patient Services Coordinator is responsible for managing patient queries and concerns. Their primary tasks include understanding what a patient needs by conducting interviews and gathering information. They then ensure that the patient receives those needs met by coordinating with various stakeholders, including patients, family members, medical personnel, and administrative staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Answer incoming calls according to established procedures and departmental standards.
  • Assist patients in resolving their queries and concerns.
  • Collect outstanding patient balances.

  • Make outbound collection calls according to procedure and departmental standards.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential.
  • The ability to work independently with minimal supervision is required.
  • Confidentiality is crucial when handling sensitive information.
  • Basic mathematical calculations must be performed accurately.
