Job Description:

Overview

We are seeking a skilled Software Engineer in Test to join our team. As a key member of our Quality Assurance department, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the reliability, accuracy, and performance of our software applications.

You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and executing test plans using advanced automation tools such as Cypress.io. Additionally, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize testing requirements, and develop automated regression test suites to ensure high-quality software delivery.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to work on cutting-edge technologies, contribute to the development of our QA practice, and make a meaningful impact on our customers' experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and execute test plans using Cypress.io and manage test artifacts in Qase
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize testing requirements
  • Develop automated regression test suites to ensure high-quality software delivery
  • Partner with Product Owners to scrub issues, triage defects, and verify reported bugs and bug fixes

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of experience in software QA or Software Engineering in Test (SET)
  • Strong experience with Cypress.io (or similar) test automation frameworks
  • Strong proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript and core object-oriented programming (OOP) principles
  • Deep business domain knowledge of billing and revenue or a strong interest in learning the domain
  • Proficiency with test case management systems like Qase
  • Comfortable executing both manual and automated tests
  • Solid engineering skills, including debugging, root cause analysis, and defect isolation
