Job Overview

This accounting role is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a growing team. As an Accounting Specialist, you'll work from home and be responsible for ensuring accuracy, compliance, and clarity in financial records.

You'll provide reliable financial insights to support leadership decision-making, while also contributing to the financial health of the business.

The ideal candidate will have 1-3 years of accounting experience, with a strong understanding of GAAP and accounting workflows. Proficiency in Excel, QuickBooks, or similar software is essential, as well as professional English communication skills.

In this role, you'll be part of a remote-first team that values accuracy, transparency, and ownership. You'll work on routine and high-impact accounting processes, gaining exposure to cross-functional collaboration with HR, admin, and operations.

Your Day-to-Day Responsibilities

  • Prepare and record journal entries and general ledger transactions
  • Reconcile bank accounts, credit card statements, and general ledger accounts
  • Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures
  • Help prepare financial statements and supporting documentation
  • Support internal and external audits
  • Perform variance analysis and explain key fluctuations
  • Support accounts payable and receivable functions as needed
  • Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal policies
