Financial Operations Specialist

We are seeking a meticulous and organized professional to handle key financial tasks, ensuring accurate record-keeping, timely compliance, and efficient financial management.

This role will play a vital part in maintaining our financial health by overseeing accounts receivable and payable, bookkeeping, and tax filings. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail and excellent analytical skills.

BIR Compliance and Tax Filings:

  • Manage BIR reports, including VAT, withholding tax, and income tax returns.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable tax laws and regulations.

Bookkeeping and Record Maintenance:

  • Oversee the recording of all financial transactions, ensuring accuracy and completeness in the general ledger.
  • Monitor and reconcile bank statements, accounts, and internal financial records.

Accounts Receivable and Payable Oversight:

  • Handle accounts receivable and payable functions, ensuring accuracy in invoicing, collections, and vendor payments.
  • Monitor cash flow, resolve discrepancies, and ensure timely reconciliation of accounts.

Risk Management and Process Improvement:

  • Liaise with auditors, tax advisors, and regulatory agencies to ensure proper reporting and compliance.
  • Identify financial risks and develop strategies to mitigate them.
  • Evaluate and implement improvements to financial processes and accounting procedures to increase efficiency.

Financial Reporting and Analysis:

  • Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.
  • Analyze financial performance, identify trends, and provide recommendations to improve financial health.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • Proven experience in accounts receivable, accounts payable, tax compliance, and bookkeeping.
  • Strong knowledge of financial analysis, BIR regulations, and tax filing requirements.
  • Experience with accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail.
