Accounting Leadership Role

The Senior Accounting Officer will be responsible for the timely and accurate preparation of financial reports, ensuring compliance with internal and external regulatory requirements. This individual will oversee team operations, assist in the preparation or review of various reports, and implement changes in accounting standards.

Responsibilities
  • Submit requirements for audits and address observations promptly.
  • Implement accounting standard updates.
  • Participate in continuous improvement projects and maintain financial reporting systems.
How You Will Contribute
  • Perform monthly financial closing for management reporting.
  • Ensure robust processes for internal, statutory, and regulatory reports.
  • Deliver on special projects like system implementations, standards, and reconciliation processes.
  • Coordinate with auditors and address audit observations.
  • Own operational processes and implement change initiatives like TAT reduction and month-end closing improvements.
Requirements
  • Degree in Accountancy, preferably CPA.
  • 4-6 years of experience in financial reporting and external audit, preferably in banking.
