Job Title:

IT Project Coordinator Role

Overview:

We are seeking a skilled IT project coordinator to oversee multiple software development projects, ensuring smooth collaboration with developers and translating business needs into actionable plans.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage at least two IT/software development projects, ensuring milestones, workflows, and deliverables are met.
  • Collaborate with developers and technical teams to track progress, resolve blockers, and align priorities.
  • Maintain and update project boards (e.g., ClickUp, Jira, Azure Dev Ops) to reflect accurate progress and reporting.
  • Translate business requirements into structured, actionable project tasks and priorities.
  • Define and track daily and weekly priorities for projects to ensure alignment across teams.
  • Coordinate with developers on project milestones, progress, and deliverables.
  • Prepare and refine business documentation, reports, and client presentations.
  • Provide light executive assistant support such as calendar and email management with accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Perform basic bookkeeping support including bank reconciliations and timely pay runs in Xero.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3 years' experience coordinating IT or software development projects.
  • Strong background in working directly with developers and managing project interdependencies.
  • Proven ability to structure project activities and tasks in a clear, actionable manner.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Nice to Have:

  • Experience using project management tools such as ClickUp, Jira, or Azure Dev Ops.
  • Knowledge of Azure or other cloud-based platforms.
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications.
  • Experience handling basic bookkeeping such as bank reconciliations and cashflow forecasts in Xero.
  • Strong writing skills with the ability to research and present findings concisely.
  • Experience managing professional content such as LinkedIn profiles.
