Senior E-commerce Developer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Senior E-commerce Developer to join our team. As a Senior E-commerce Developer, you will be responsible for designing and developing high-converting e-commerce experiences using Shopify.

About the Role:

This is an excellent opportunity for a seasoned developer to leverage their expertise in e-commerce development and take on new challenges. You will work closely with our internal team to deliver exceptional online shopping experiences that meet our clients' expectations.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Shopify's theme customization and development, as well as experience with WordPress, PHP, and Laravel. They should also be proficient in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Liquid.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Theme Customization: Customize and maintain Shopify themes, primarily using selections from the Shopify Theme Store, with a preference for Enterprise or Impact themes.
  • Custom Development: Develop and implement bespoke Shopify themes as needed, ensuring each client's vision is realized.
  • Integration: Enhance website functionality by integrating third-party applications and APIs.
  • Troubleshooting: Troubleshoot and resolve website issues promptly to minimize downtime.
Requirements:
  • Shopify Expertise: Strong experience in Shopify development, with a proven ability to customize themes and build custom solutions as needed.
  • Front-end Skills: Proficient in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Liquid (Shopify's templating language).
  • Back-end Knowledge: Familiar with PHP and frameworks like Laravel.
  • Communication: Excellent English communication skills for clear internal collaboration.
  • Time Zone Availability: Available to work West Coast hours.
  • Version Control: Familiarity with version control systems like Git.
