We are seeking a skilled Settlements Specialist to join our team in Market Operations. As a key member of our department, you will be responsible for facilitating the settlements of Fixed Income, Derivatives, Equities, Money Markets and other related products.
Your primary objective will be to support Global Markets by ensuring the accurate and timely entry of product transactions into various settlements systems. This role requires strong communication skills, both written and verbal, as well as organisational and prioritisation abilities.
About the Role:
- Facilitate settlements of deals through multiple clearing parties
- Liaise with traders, dealers, counterparties, customers, and clearing houses
- Accurately and efficiently enter product transactions into settlements systems
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure completion of settlements
What We're Looking For:
- Graduate of any banking or financial related discipline
- Proven experience in the banking industry, particularly in Markets Operation or settlements
- Strong knowledge of SWIFT and local payments systems
- Sound understanding of Markets products and local regulations
- Experience in Markets operation areas in commercial banks, investment banks, and security companies
- Understanding of bank processes, including payment, settlement, inter-bank clearing
- Knowledgeable in ANZ payment systems
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office tools and applications
