Job Title: Spatial Design Specialist

Location: Remote work opportunity

Hours: 9 AM – 5 PM UK Time zone

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Spatial Designer to join our design team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of space planning, building elevations, and architectural layouts.

Key Responsibilities
  • Create precise spatial designs using CAD software and other design tools
  • Develop full construction-ready plans from architectural sketches and design briefs
  • Maximize space efficiency while adhering to client specifications and building codes
  • Evaluate and revise drawing packages with architects, planners, and contractors
  • Maintain organized records of revisions and drawing sets for project tracking
  • Coordinate with stakeholders working across different time zones to meet deadlines
Requirements
  • Proven experience in architectural planning, CAD drafting, or design layout development
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, or equivalent drafting/design tools
  • Strong understanding of UK planning processes, zoning codes, and building regulations
  • Excellent attention to detail and visual presentation of technical documents
  • Ability to manage multiple design projects and adjust to evolving client needs
  • Effective communication skills to collaborate remotely and provide updates clearly
  • A portfolio showcasing previous spatial design work is highly desirable
