Job Opportunity

Our company is seeking an experienced professional to lead the development of our robust backend systems and APIs. As a Senior Backend Developer, you will be responsible for designing, building, and optimizing high-performance backend infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop scalable backend systems and APIs built for speed and growth.
  • Build and manage secure, reliable, and efficient public-facing APIs.
  • Own CI/CD pipelines that power continuous integration and deployment.
  • Implement best-in-class monitoring and observability with tools like Datadog or New Relic.
  • Collaborate with frontend developers, product teams, and stakeholders to align backend architecture with business goals.
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of experience in backend development, building and scaling public-facing APIs.
  • Proficiency in Python programming, with solid experience in Flask or FastAPI.
  • Strong skills in SQL and PostgreSQL, with ideal experience in PostGIS for geospatial data.
  • Experience with spatial mapping tools (like Mapbox) or GIS concepts.
  • Ability to design RESTful APIs that are secure, scalable, and built for performance.
  • Experience in AWS environments (API Gateway, Lambda, Serverless) and knowledge of shipping production-ready systems.
