Digital Marketing Strategist

This is an exciting chance to drive impact and commercial growth in a dynamic, high-performance team working on leading Australian and global brands.
As our Technical SEO Expert, you will be responsible for developing and executing end-to-end SEO strategies and tactics aligned with client business goals. You will work closely with our SEO Director and team to deliver technical and content-based solutions that increase organic search rank, traffic, and most importantly, commercial results/conversions.
- Minimum 5+ years' experience in digital marketing or SEO agencies, with expertise across technical SEO, content relevance, authority building, and user experience.
- Demonstrated experience in developing and implementing successful SEO strategies that improve organic search rankings, traffic, and conversions.
- Exceptional organisational skills and the ability to handle multiple complex projects simultaneously.
- Expertise in site structure, page speed, page crawling, foundational SEO, impediments to indexing, asset optimisation.
- Strong keyword research skills, creating thematic clusters and using data to inform SEO strategy.
- Excellent webpage, copy and content optimisation skills.
- Foundational understanding of common content management systems like WordPress & Shopify.
- Understanding of core web metrics and the role UX plays in SEO success.
- Local SEO and Google business profile optimisation.
- An understanding of backlinking and identifying linking opportunities.
- Strong proficiency in tools including Screaming Frog, SEMrush, Ahrefs, Google Search Console, Google Analytics (GA4), Looker Studio.
