About the RoleWe are seeking a skilled professional to join our team as a 3D model converter. As a member of our remote team, you will be working on converting high-resolution 2D images into 3D bas-relief point cloud models for subsurface crystal engraving.
Main Responsibilities- Transform JPEG/PNG images into 3D point cloud models with raised facial features
- Improve image contrast and definition for optimal engraving results
- Evaluate file compatibility with OBJ formats and scale 3D models for crystal dimensions
- Conduct thorough quality checks before delivering engraving-ready files
- Proven experience in 3D modeling, CAD, or image-to-3D conversion
- Familiarity with point cloud generation tools and techniques
- Strong understanding of bas-relief modeling and digital sculpting
- Knowledge of 3D file formats (OBJ, STL) and scaling processes
