Senior VoIP Systems Administrator

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior VoIP Systems Administrator to join our team.

This is a direct, full-time contract position that can be completed fully remotely.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing and maintaining large-scale VoIP platforms, as well as hands-on experience with SIP and RTP protocols and related software.

Main Responsibilities
  • Build, operate, manage, and improve large VoIP platforms and their underlying infrastructure.
  • Manage and maintain Linux servers, including kernels, images, change management, security, AAA, logging, libraries, centralized logging, jump servers, daemons, monitoring/alerting platforms.
  • Develop and maintain compliance for ISO 27001, SOC2, HIPAA, and PCI standards and certification requirements.
Key Qualifications
  • Three or more years of senior-level Linux Systems Administration experience across a minimum of three different core Linux distributions.
  • Advanced complex shell scripting abilities for automation purposes.
  • Experience with BigCouch/CouchDB and MySQL databases, including tables, replications, backups, files, and content.
  • Deep configuration and functionality knowledge of SIP/RTP software/daemons/applications.
  • Understanding and familiarity with the LAMP software stack and Docker containers.

This role involves working on complex technical projects and requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

This job requires a high level of autonomy and independence, as well as excellent communication and collaboration skills.

You will work closely with other teams to ensure seamless execution of projects and tasks.
