Enterprise Applications Developer Position

We are looking for a highly skilled Enterprise Applications Developer to join our team. In this role, you will work closely with business partners and technology architects to implement the enterprise applications product roadmap.

As an application engineer, you will analyze system issues, perform bug triage, coordinate with multiple cross-functional teams, and find solutions. You will be responsible for documenting detailed processes, performing systems configuration, scripting, bug fixes, testing, implementation, continuous improvement, and ongoing support.

Responsibilities
  • Work closely with business partners to understand processes, gaps, and goals.
  • Develop and maintain documentation related to developing and modifying business processes and systems.
  • Partner with business and technology teams to define associated system requirements and solutions.
  • Participate in systems implementation projects, including requirements documentation, systems configuration, test documentation/execution, issue identification, and resolution.
  • Provide technical solutions to business problems related to Finance Enterprise applications.
Business Solutions Design, Delivery & Support
  • Design, implement, and maintain automated workflows, scripts, and integrations within NetSuite and connected systems.
  • Proactively gather information, investigate gaps/issues, identify potential solutions, and present to stakeholders.
  • Facilitate review sessions with functional owners, subject matter experts, and end-user representatives.
  • Work with various teams to investigate Finance production support issues and ensure timely resolution.
  • Develop project milestones and timelines for development, UAT, production validation, and go-live with cross-functional teams.
  • Participate in scheduled system upgrades, including test plan development, testing, reviewing, and evaluating new functionality.
  • Support delivery of reporting, dashboards, and business intelligence capabilities through partnership with IT and Business.
  • Lead and perform data management and migration activities.
  • Ensure training and timely communications in accordance with project timelines.
  • Engage in areas of Finance such as Security, Compliance (SOX), Reporting, Production, and participate in change management support to ensure projects address business needs and interests.
Qualifications & Skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Information & Computer Science or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience working with NetSuite ERP in a technical or techno-functional role.
  • Good functional and configuration-level understanding of one or more areas, including ERP System Administration, Order to Cash, Procure to Pay, Invoicing, Revenue Recognition, Taxation, Customer Billing, etc.
  • Experience in JavaScript or any other programming language is a must.
  • Strong experience with SuiteScript, SuiteFlow, SuiteBuilder, SuiteAnalytics.
  • Experience with building web services integrations (REST/SOAP).
  • Ability to learn complex, distributed systems quickly and thoroughly.
  • Document complex systems, processes, events, and architectures.
  • Must be customer-centric and have interpersonal skills necessary to manage business and technology relationships.
  • Must be a self-starter, deal with ambiguity, and thrive in a rapidly changing business environment.
  • Ability to communicate effectively (written and verbally) with both technical and non-technical parties.
  • Can Do and Open to Learn Attitude Required.
