UI/UX Designer

The role involves creating visually appealing and user-friendly interfaces that meet the needs of users. To achieve this, one will be responsible for conducting user research, interviews, and usability testing to understand user needs and pain points.

Responsibilities:

  • Conducting user research to identify key areas of improvement in existing interfaces.
  • Developing user flows, wireframes, mockups, and prototypes that lead to intuitive user experiences.
  • Designing visually stunning and user-friendly interfaces adhering to brand guidelines and design system standards.
  • Collaborating with product managers and developers to ensure seamless handoff and accurate implementation.
  • Creating and maintaining design documentation including style guides, design systems, and user personas.
  • Working closely with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to define requirements and ensure design feasibility.
  • Iterating on designs based on user feedback, data analysis, and usability testing results.
  • Advocating for user needs across the product lifecycle using data and insights to guide decisions.

Required Skills:

  • Proven experience as a UI/UX Designer or similar role.
  • A strong portfolio showcasing your design process, wireframes, prototypes, and final UI designs for web applications.
  • Experience creating responsive mobile-first designs and working with design systems.
  • Proficiency in industry-standard design and prototyping tools e.g. Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or similar.
  • Solid understanding of user-centered design principles usability heuristics, and interaction design patterns.
  • Experience conducting user research and usability testing.
  • Excellent visual design skills with sensitivity to user-system interaction.
  • Strong communication presentation and collaboration skills.
  • Experience designing for accessibility WCAG.
  • You thrive in a collaborative environment and enjoy working with cross-functional teams.
  • Experience working on SaaS products or in agile development environments.
