Highly Experienced Payroll Specialist Required

We are seeking a highly detail-oriented and experienced payroll professional to join our team.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare and process semi-monthly payroll for exempt and non-exempt employees in the US, Canada, and Australia.
- Upload Canada and Australia payroll data into third-party vendor systems for processing.
- Process US payroll utilizing Workday.
- Partner with global teams to ensure timely receipt of all payroll data to meet strict processing deadlines.
- Coordinate with managers to ensure all hourly timecards are completed, reviewed, and approved.
- Analyze payrolls for all pay groups.
- Ensure accurate data for all new hires, employee changes, leave of absence, and terminations.
- Comply with state final pay requirements for termination payments and process in a timely manner.
- Respond to and/or complete unemployment claims.
- Monitor the payroll inbox and respond to inquiries promptly.
- A minimum of 2 years dedicated U.S. payroll experience.
- Strong proficiency and hands-on experience with Workday for U.S. payroll processing.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including VLOOKUPs and Pivot Tables.
- Strong analytical capabilities, particularly in understanding and applying tax laws related to payroll.
- Ability to read and interpret payroll registers and audit reports effectively.
- A high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Proactive, efficient, and capable of working independently.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Demonstrated ability to provide excellent customer service.
- Ability to multi-task and manage strict processing deadlines.
- Experience with India payroll.
- Experience processing payroll for Canada and Australia.
- Global payroll experience.
- Experience with Employer of Record (EOR) payroll.
- Familiarity with local payroll tax filings and statutory compliance in various countries.
- Proficiency in Google applications.
- Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) or Fundamental Payroll Certification (FPC).
