Job Title: Jira System Administrator

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Jira System Administrator to join our team.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Jira Administration: Managing user accounts, groups, roles, and permissions.
  • Workflow & Automation: Designing and optimizing workflows, fields, screens, and automation rules.
  • Project Configuration & Reporting: Creating and maintaining projects, boards, dashboards, filters, and actionable reports.
  • Billing & Cost Optimisation: Tracking licenses, reconciling invoices, and recommending savings on apps and subscriptions.
  • Integration & Add-ons: Evaluating, implementing, and maintaining Marketplace apps, and integrating Jira with CI/CD, chat, and other business tools.
  • User Support & Training: Providing second-line support, running training sessions, and maintaining clear documentation and knowledge articles.
  • Governance & Continuous Improvement: Ensuring security and compliance, documenting configurations, and championing ongoing process improvements.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • At least 2+ years of proven Jira/Atlassian administration experience (cloud).
  • Solid grasp of Agile (Scrum/Kanban) and ITSM (ITIL, SLAs, queues).
  • Experience managing SaaS licenses, budgets, or cost-control initiatives.
  • Scripting/automation skills (Groovy, Jira Automation, REST API) and strong problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent English communication and comfort training non-technical users.
