Financial Analyst Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled Financial Analyst to join our team in a senior capacity. This role will be responsible for conducting high-level financial analyses, creating complex models, and providing insightful data-driven recommendations to inform business decisions.

  • This position requires strong analytical skills, with the ability to collect and analyze large datasets, identify trends, and develop data-driven insights.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in financial analysis, with expertise in financial modeling, budgeting, and forecasting. They will also possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively present complex financial information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

In this role, you will work closely with the VP of Finance to develop project plans, communicate status, and provide regular updates on key performance indicators. You will also be responsible for updating projection models as needed to accurately reflect new or revised data.

  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, including financial statement analysis, budgeting, and forecasting.
  • Ability to interpret business transactions, journalize properly, and reconcile financial discrepancies.
  • Recommend financial actions based on accounting options and provide data-driven insights to inform business decisions.

To succeed in this role, you must have a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field, or equivalent experience. Additionally, you must be proficient in Excel and have strong analytical skills.
