About the Bookkeeper Role
This is a full-time opportunity for an experienced bookkeeper to join our team. As a bookkeeper, you will be responsible for managing our financial operations, ensuring accuracy and precision in all financial transactions.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting and bookkeeping, with experience in accounts payable and receivable. They will be proficient in accounting platforms and Excel/Google Sheets, and have excellent communication and organizational skills.
We offer a competitive salary range of $9,600 - $14,400 per year, as well as a range of benefits including health, dental, and mental health insurance, and a 13th month bonus. Key Responsibilities:
- Accounts Payable: Set up new vendors, collect W-9 forms, reconcile vendor statements, protect confidential information, review invoices, perform 3-way matching, ensure proper GL coding, enter invoices, resolve discrepancies, apply credits, maintain payment schedule, track and manage billings and payments for accuracy and timeliness, collaborate with internal teams.
- Accounts Receivable: Apply payments to invoices, verify deductions and credits, retrieve remittance advice, regular AR reconciliations, maintain AR records, resolve discrepancies, reconcile online sales and bank deposits, review AR aging, monitor unapplied payments, prepare customer statements as needed.
