Content Specialist

We believe that effective content ties desired outcomes to meaningful experiences.

This role focuses on creating engaging certification course materials, blogs, and whitepapers. The ideal candidate will collaborate with our existing writing teams to ensure the content produced aligns with our organization's goals and standards.

Main Responsibilities
  • Developing clear, compelling copy for various media (e.g., long-form blog posts, learning modules, skills assessments, surveys, articles, whitepapers).
  • Interpreting a content brief to understand assigned tasks and underlying asks; following up where more information is needed.
  • Engaging with subject matter experts and teams to understand the purpose of assets, key takeaways, and calls to action (CTAs), as well as the behavior we're trying to influence.
  • Adhering to brand and editorial guidelines.
  • Applying feedback from our team and quality control editors.
  • Partnering with our teams, suggesting ideas, and bringing expertise to the table.
Requirements
  • Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading abilities with strong attention to detail.
  • Strong interest in education, adult-learning, and related fields.
  • Ability to transform a content brief into engaging courseware or narratives.
  • Strong research skills and a natural curiosity to learn new topics.
  • Ability to facilitate interviews and workshops with subject matter experts to gather input for compelling materials.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with content and learning management systems.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • Team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines.
  • Minimum of 5+ years of experience in copywriter/content creator roles.
  • Bachelor's degree in Journalism, Communications, English, or equivalent experience.
  • Reliable home internet service.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
