Job Description

The Content Specialist role involves collaborating with a talented team of video creators and editors to produce impactful videos that align with our organizational goals.

The ideal candidate will be a strong multi-tasker with exceptional English language abilities who can balance quality and efficiency in their work.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Supporting the development of video content for various platforms, with a focus on optimizing for engagement and discoverability.
  • Collaborating with video creators and editors to ensure high-quality and efficient video creation.
  • Experimenting with various video formats adapted to each target channel, including formats inspired by successful content outside of traditional educational content.
  • Leveraging AI and tech tools to streamline production and improve video quality.
  • Providing ongoing feedback, direction, and performance analysis to enhance content strategy.
  • Monitoring trends and platform updates to drive innovation and viewer engagement.

Requirements include 2-3 years of experience in video creation, preferably academic or informational, with a strong understanding of the YouTube ecosystem. Proficiency in Adobe Premiere and familiarity with other editing and graphics tools are also necessary. Data-savvy individuals with a passion for trends and effective titling, thumbnails, and pacing are ideal candidates for this role.
