As an Assistant Manager in our Service Line, you will play a vital role in providing VAT/GST compliance services to our clients. This involves analyzing clients' prior VAT/GST returns and working files retrieved from their systems, as well as reviewing necessary compliance adjustments and determining the data of provided reports for compliance purposes.

The ideal candidate will have a strong proficiency in both written and spoken English, Bahasa Malaysia, and the ability to speak other Asian languages. A bachelor's degree in related disciplines such as Accounting or professional qualification is required, with a minimum of 5 years of VAT/GST experience preferably with an international accounting firm or a corporate.

  • Reviewing potential issues ranging from routine compliance matters to complex cross-border transactions
  • Assisting on large finance and tax transformations

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or professional qualification
  • Minimum 5 years of VAT/GST experience
  • Strong proficiency in English, Bahasa Malaysia, and other Asian languages
  • Analytical mind and meticulous approach to processes and data
  • Strong Microsoft Excel and Word skills
  • Prior experience in managing a team
