Lead Game Designer

We are seeking an accomplished Lead Game Designer to spearhead the creation of innovative and engaging games. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the design process, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and driving projects forward from concept to launch.

  • Provide expert feedback to the level design team, fostering a culture of constructive critique and collaborative growth.
  • Pitch compelling ideas and concepts to engage users in existing projects, leveraging your expertise to drive player retention and satisfaction.
  • Work closely with the design team to develop new content across all projects within the studio, ensuring cohesive and high-quality experiences.
  • Review and revise levels with the level design team, utilizing data-driven insights to inform design decisions.
  • Tune levels based on analytics, continually optimizing game performance and user experience.
  • Collaborate with a team of level designers to build comprehensive knowledge and best practices.
  • Develop levels for multiple games and game modes, staying adaptable and responsive to changing project requirements.
  • Design obstacles and game features with the design team, focusing on creative problem-solving and innovation.
Requirements
  • At least 1+ year as a level designer or similar role on casual, puzzle, or f2p games; demonstrated ability to ship at least one game.
  • Experience in Unity 3D is essential.
  • Proven track record of developing games across all platforms, including mobile, console, and PC.
  • Deep understanding of f2p/casual level design principles and methodologies.
  • Detailed-oriented, organized, and able to work well both independently and collaboratively.
  • Exhibit strong management and conflict resolution skills, effectively leading teams and navigating complex project dynamics.
  • Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail and adaptability.
  • Attentive to detail and passionate about continuous learning and improvement.
