About the Job

The role of a Financial Analyst is crucial in building and enhancing portfolio-level financial models to inform budgets and reforecasts.


  • Portfolio-level financial models are developed and improved to provide accurate budget information.
  • Project-level budget-to-actual variance analysis is produced, and findings are communicated to operational teams.
  • Operational assets' underperformance and optimization opportunities are identified, leading to actionable recommendations that drive improved results.
  • Reporting packages and deliverables are prepared for investors and lenders.
  • Operational teams are collaborated with to ensure delivery of key alerts and protect portfolios from operational risk.
  • Data infrastructure is built to enable the team to isolate and investigate key performance drivers such as energy rates and energy production.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field.
  • At least 2 years of experience in a related field or relevant coursework.
  • Creative mindset with proven analytical ability and attention to detail.
  • Superior organizational and time management skills, and the ability to efficiently manage multiple projects in a fast-paced work environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate information, ideas, and perspectives with people inside and beyond your organization.
