We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Accountant with an active CPA license to join our team. This individual will be responsible for processing invoices and payments in a timely and accurate manner, while ensuring compliance with accounting standards and contributing to financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Process and Manage Invoices: Process a high volume of invoices, ensuring accurate coding and approval in accordance with company policies.
  2. Review Vendor Invoices: Review and verify vendor invoices against contracts and receipts to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  3. Resolve Discrepancies: Handle complex invoice discrepancies and vendor payment issues, working directly with vendors and internal departments to resolve.
  4. Support Payment Runs: Assist in the preparation of payment runs, ensuring all payments are processed on time and in line with vendor agreements.
  5. Maintain Vendor Information: Maintain and update vendor information, ensuring accuracy of records in the accounts payable system.
  6. Assist with Closing Processes: Support the month-end and year-end closing processes, including the preparation of accruals, journal entries, and reconciliations for accounts payable.
  7. Ensure Compliance: Ensure VAT, WHT, and income tax compliance in line with local regulations.
  8. Develop AP Policies: Contribute to the development and implementation of AP policies and procedures to improve efficiency and accuracy within the department.
  9. Mentor Junior Staff: Provide training and mentorship to junior accounts payable staff, ensuring they understand and adhere to AP processes and best practices.
  10. Review and Reconcile Statements: Review and reconcile vendor statements, following up on outstanding issues to ensure timely resolution.
  11. Generate and Analyze Reports: Generate and analyze AP reports to monitor aging and cash flow. Assist with audits, providing necessary documentation and supporting evidence for AP-related inquiries.
