Financial Operations Specialist

We are seeking a meticulous and tech-savvy Financial Operations Specialist to join our dynamic team supporting fast-growing businesses in the jewelry retail industry.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, streamlining transaction processing, and supporting key automation initiatives using QuickBooks Online (QBO) and other financial tools.

  • Record and categorize daily financial transactions in QuickBooks Online (QBO) accurately.
  • Process accounts payable and receivable transactions, including invoice entry, payments, and reconciliations.
  • Maintain an organized and up-to-date general ledger.
  • Reconcile bank and credit card accounts regularly, identifying and resolving discrepancies.
Key Responsibilities:

The Financial Operations Specialist will assist with:

  • Inventory tracking, cost-of-goods-sold (COGS) allocations, and POS system integration.
  • Providing retail accounting support, including financial nuances of jewelry sales, returns, and vendor purchasing.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of hands-on bookkeeping experience in a retail or e-commerce setting.
  • Experience in or with the jewelry industry is a strong plus.
  • Proficiency in QuickBooks Online (QBO) and experience using Bill.com is required.
