Job Summary

We seek an accomplished Tax Professional with a strong background in tax preparation, internal collaboration, and team supervision.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and file accurate federal, state, and local tax returns.
  • Collaborate closely with accounting staff to ensure data accuracy and supporting documentation for tax filings.
  • Review financial reports and schedules for compliance and completeness.
  • Communicate directly with clients via clear emails and correspondence.
  • Supervise and manage outsourced staff, assigning tasks and reviewing deliverables.
  • Conduct ongoing research to stay current with tax regulations.
  • Assist with quarterly estimated tax calculations and annual tax planning.
  • Support audits and compliance reviews as needed.
  • Apply advanced Excel skills to contribute to financial projects.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
  • 3-4 years of bookkeeping experience with strong general ledger knowledge.
  • 2-4 years of tax return preparation experience.
  • Proficiency in UltraTax and Fixed Assets CS.
  • Experience using Soroban or Stanford Tax platforms.
  • Excellent written communication skills.
  • Strong Excel skills for reporting and analysis.
  • Ability to manage and delegate tasks to outsourced team members.
  • High attention to detail and meeting deadlines.
