Financial Planning and Analysis Role

About the Position

The FP&A Analyst plays a crucial role in supporting planning and decision-making by preparing detailed reports, building complex financial models, and analyzing large datasets for accurate forecasting, budgeting, and reporting.

Main Responsibilities

  1. Prepare scheduled financial reports to ensure accuracy of data and timely delivery. This includes synthesizing information from various sources, identifying trends, and developing actionable insights to inform business decisions.

  2. Update and maintain advanced forecasting tools and templates to support informed decision-making. This involves leveraging industry best practices, staying up-to-date with market trends, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive business growth.

  3. Reconcile financial data between systems to identify discrepancies and optimize processes. This requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and effective communication to resolve issues efficiently.

  4. Assist in preparing comprehensive presentation decks for senior management and executive teams. This involves distilling complex data into clear, concise visuals, and presenting findings in a clear and compelling manner.

  5. Provide analytical support for ad hoc projects and business cases to drive strategic growth. This involves conducting thorough research, analyzing data, and developing recommendations that align with organizational objectives.

Required Skills & Expertise
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field is required. Relevant work experience in financial planning, analysis, or related roles is highly valued.
  • Proficiency in Excel is essential; exposure to QuickBooks Online and Power BI is highly valued.
  • Strong analytical mindset and attention to detail are critical to deliver high-quality results.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills are necessary to work seamlessly with cross-functional teams.
