Job Description

The Legislative Risk Team Lead plays a crucial role in mitigating operational and compliance risks, preventing or minimizing losses, fines, penalties, or sanctions by ensuring adherence to Anti-Money Laundering Council requirements and other laws.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Oversees the team's operation and ensures fulfillment of its roles and functions.
  • Coordinates with different business units to implement the Bank's Money Laundering and Terrorist Prevention Program efficiently.
  • Provides guidelines/procedures to business units consistent with the Money Laundering Program.
  • Ensures processes and systems are agile and robust enough to assess, analyze, control, and manage risks effectively.
  • Develops and maintains compliance training programs/refresher training for employees to ensure they are aware of their compliance obligations.
  • Performs other tasks assigned from time to time.
Required Skills and Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree relevant to the job.
  • At least 5 years of relevant work experience in AML compliance or Compliance in general.
  • Must be willing to work onsite and be assigned in Ortigas.
