Job Description

The role of Senior Shopify Developer is an exceptional opportunity to join our team in crafting and maintaining high-converting eCommerce experiences.

As a key member, you will be responsible for customizing and maintaining Shopify themes, primarily using selections from the Shopify Theme Store, with a preference for Enterprise or Impact themes.

Developing and implementing bespoke Shopify themes as needed, ensuring each client's vision is realized, is also a crucial aspect of this role.

When opportunities arise, you will dive into WordPress, PHP, and Laravel projects to expand your skill set.

You will work closely with our internal team to ensure projects are completed on time and exceed client expectations.

Maintaining clear and effective communication with team members in English, facilitating smooth project progress, is essential.

You will enhance website functionality by integrating third-party applications and APIs, ensuring fast load times and a seamless user experience across devices.

Built websites following SEO best practices to improve site visibility and search rankings are a key deliverable in this position.

Troubleshooting and resolving website issues promptly to minimize downtime is also a critical responsibility.

To succeed in this role, you must stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to keep our solutions cutting-edge.

This role requires strong experience in Shopify development, proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Liquid (Shopify's templating language), familiarity with PHP and frameworks like Laravel, experience with WordPress development, excellent English communication skills, availability to work West Coast hours, strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail, ability to work independently and as part of a team, and familiarity with version control systems like Git, understanding of SEO principles and best practices, and ability to integrate third-party services and APIs to enhance store functionality.
