Business Operations Specialist

We are seeking a detail-oriented Business Operations Specialist to join our team. This role involves obtaining Employer Identification Numbers (EINs) from the IRS for newly formed companies and representing clients professionally in communication with the IRS.

The ideal candidate will have experience working with the IRS on various cases, particularly involving EIN acquisition. They should be familiar with IRS procedures and compliance requirements, possess excellent communication and problem-solving skills, and be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Contact the IRS via phone daily during US business hours to obtain EINs on behalf of clients
  • Represent clients professionally and ensure compliance with IRS regulations
  • Manage and track EIN applications, maintaining accurate records of all interactions and documentation
  • Address any issues or follow-ups related to EIN acquisition efficiently and effectively
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure client needs are met in a timely manner
Requirements:
  • Minimum 3+ years of experience working with the IRS on various cases, particularly involving EIN acquisition
  • Active PTIN number, SSN number, or certification as a CAA (Certified Acceptance Agent) or EA (Enrolled Agent)
  • Strong understanding of IRS procedures and compliance requirements
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to represent clients professionally
