Lead Software Engineering Manager

The ideal candidate will provide technical leadership, guiding the development team through agile processes. They must improve code quality and enhance our CI/CD practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Spend 50% of time writing code, building scalable features, and reviewing Pull Requests to ensure code quality.
  • Coach, mentor, and manage Scrum practices.
  • Provide hands-on mentorship to a growing team of software engineers.
  • Optimize Scrum practices including sprint planning, daily standups, retrospectives, and reviews.
  • Champion continuous improvement in code quality, test coverage, and deployment practices.
  • Actively contribute to code reviews and architectural decisions for our core platform.
  • Cross-functionally collaborate with product managers and stakeholders to deliver high-impact features.
  • Foster an engineering culture that values innovation, quality, and continuous learning.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of hands-on software development experience with .NET/C# technologies.
  • Strong foundational knowledge of DevOps best practices on AWS or similar platforms.
  • 3+ years of engineering leadership experience with demonstrable team growth results.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent experience.
  • Deep understanding of software design patterns, architecture, and engineering best practices.
  • Proven success leading Agile/Scrum development teams to deliver complex projects.
  • Track record of improving code quality, test coverage, and deployment reliability.
  • Outstanding communication skills across distributed teams and time zones.
