About the Job:

We're seeking a seasoned utility professional to lead detailed inspections of overhead infrastructure, ensuring data integrity and contributing to process improvements within the electric sector.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead comprehensive inspections to identify faults and hazards in overhead infrastructure.
  • Perform advanced data analysis for high standards of accuracy and data quality.
  • Oversee QA/QC processes for work packages and ensure compliance with project requirements.
  • Provide feedback and contribute to process enhancements.
  • Align data accuracy with industry standards by working closely with internal teams.
  • Collaborate with utility companies to meet project goals and deliverables.
  • Stay updated on industry standards, regulations, and best practices for operational effectiveness.
  • Enhance technical knowledge and skill development through training programs.

Requirements:

  • 4+ years of experience in the electric utility field (preferred).
  • Strong leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficient computer skills with good written and oral communication abilities.
  • Working knowledge of NESC, national engineering standards, utility construction standards, and best industry engineering practices.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team setting.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work.
  • Ability to work remotely and coordinate effectively with a distributed workforce.
  • Enthusiasm for learning and applying new technologies within the utility sector.

Tools/Technical Environment:

  • GIS software for utility asset mapping and analysis.
  • Data management tools for cataloging and reporting.
  • Communication platforms for collaboration with internal teams and stakeholders.
  • Industry-standard reference materials, including NESC and engineering guidelines.
