Medical Law Specialist

This role is responsible for supporting the Compliance team with up-to-date laws, regulations and guidelines for assigned states, local, federal and Medicaid autism-related ABA requirements.
The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities and experience in medical billing and insurance reimbursement.
Key Responsibilities- Research and gather information from internal resources, websites and other sources.
- Create documents and update internal resources in a timely and professional manner.
- Summarize payor guidelines and respond to queries with accurate information.
- Maintain excel spreadsheets and fee schedules as required.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in medical billing and insurance reimbursement, preferably in Behavioral Health.
- Proficiency in Microsoft programs such as Excel and Word.
- Attention to detail with above-average organizational skills.
- Able to prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
