Accounting Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Accounting Specialist to oversee financial activities and maintain accurate records.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage accounts payable and ensure timely financial record-keeping
  • Establish standardized financial workflows and internal controls for accuracy and compliance
  • Contribute to month-end closing activities, including account reconciliations and financial reports
  • Provide budget-to-actual analyses and collaborate with stakeholders to address discrepancies
  • Perform monthly reconciliations and in-depth reviews of balance sheet and income statement accounts
  • Prepare cash flow forecasts for financial planning and decision-making
  • Supervise revenue and expense processes to ensure data integrity
  • Maintain adherence to GAAP standards in all accounting practices
  • Assist in tax obligations by preparing records for quarterly and annual filings
Requirements
  • Proficiency in QuickBooks and Excel
  • Knowledge of GAAP is essential; CPA certification is a plus
  • Experience in managing end-to-end accounting activities and financial reporting
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively
