Job Overview

The Senior Financial Planning Analyst will be a key partner to Finance leaders across major U.S. cities, influencing strategic decision-making and driving financial performance.

This role is responsible for leading critical initiatives across financial planning, business partnership, and process innovation to drive strategic decision-making and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead financial reporting and analysis across critical business areas.
  • Manage the monthly forecast and annual budget cycles, ensuring alignment with business goals.
  • Summarize complex monthly and quarterly results into clear insights and actionable recommendations.
  • Build financial models, develop 'what-if' scenarios, and perform risk analyses to inform key initiatives.
  • Support scenario planning and long-term financial modeling efforts to inform strategic decisions.
  • Apply a digital-first approach to automate and streamline recurring FP&A processes.
Business Partnership and Strategic Support:
  • Partner closely with Finance leadership to shape and support financial strategies.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and create executive dashboards to support business performance reviews.
  • Assist in preparing financial materials for senior management meetings.
Digital Innovation and Process Optimization:
  • Lead or support projects focused on automation, cost savings, and process re-engineering.
  • Drive continuous improvement by adopting AI tools, machine learning-enabled forecasts, and data visualization platforms.
  • Champion a digital mindset within the Finance team—encouraging experimentation with emerging tools and technologies.

In this role, you will act as a thought partner to senior Finance and Business leaders, proactively challenging business assumptions and identifying areas for optimization.

You will take full ownership of key financial deliverables, delivering insights that influence strategic decision-making.

Present financial analysis and recommendations directly to senior leadership, helping shape business strategies.
