At our organization, we are seeking a Digital Marketing Strategist to spearhead the development and execution of marketing initiatives that cater to an audience primarily visiting obituaries.

About the Job:

The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating and implementing marketing strategies that demonstrate empathy in communications, as well as a deep understanding of consumer trends and behavior.

  • Develop and execute high-volume email marketing campaigns across multiple systems and platforms.
  • Drive the creation and execution of A/B tests to determine the most effective strategies for user acquisition, retention, and engagement.
  • Create engaging messaging that effectively communicates the value proposition of consumer products while being sensitive to the emotion of the audience.
  • Provide strategic recommendations for email platform consolidation and future platform selections to streamline operations and enhance campaign performance.

This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to produce quality work under tight deadlines. Experience with HTML and Salesforce is also required.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, statistics, or similar discipline.
  • Strong experience in building and launching high-volume email campaigns.
  • Proven experience across various email marketing and automation platforms.
  • Demonstrated ability to make strategic recommendations for email platform optimization and develop requirements for future technology consolidation.
  • Growth mindset with a results-driven approach to work (testing, measuring, iterating).
