DOXA Talent is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Financial Accountant to join our team. About the Role

This is a full-time position that requires 1-3 years of experience in association management accounting. You will be working remotely and following Philippine holidays. We are looking for someone who is proficient in using Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint) and has strong communication skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process accounts payable and accounts receivable, including collections
  • Record debits, credits, and totals accounts in databases, spreadsheets, and property management software
  • Code documents according to company procedures
  • Classify, record, and summarize numerical and financial data to compile and keep accurate financial records
  • Reconcile and report discrepancies found in records
  • Handle general ledger and month-end close
  • Prepare commission reports and accruals
  • Reconcile prepaid expenses and fixed assets
  • Reconcile general ledger to external sales tracking datafile
  • Coordinate marketing reimbursement claims and track payments for general ledger purposes
  • Handle accounts receivable and collections
  • Generate and enter customer invoices and vendor bills
  • Respond to account receivable-related communications, including billing questions and collection of past-due amounts
  • Handle accounts payable
  • Assist with administrative tasks and other office duties as needed

Qualifications

  • A bachelor's degree in the related field is an advantage
  • Experience in association management accounting
  • Any property management software would be an advantage
  • Strong proficiency in using Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint)
  • Ability to communicate clearly both verbally and in writing
  • Well organized with a strong eye for detail
  • Ability to collaborate with the team
  • Ability to adapt to change and fast-growing environment
  • Experience in a multi-client environment
  • Aptitude in data management, analytics, reporting preparation
  • Ability to function in an autonomous environment—independent worker, self-directed
