Job Overview

The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading our tax practice area and delivering quality tax services to clients. We are seeking a Tax Supervisor with a strong background in US taxation, advanced Excel skills, and experience in managing teams.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the preparation of federal tax returns and ensure timely creation of tax related documentation.
  • Deliver efficient completion of quality tax returns and provide excellent client service.
  • Conduct a second-level review of tax provisions, calculations, and related documentation to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable tax laws and regulations, including monitoring changes in tax legislation and implementing necessary adjustments.
  • Drive team production throughout the cycle, delegating and organizing work to maximize efficiency.
  • Actively contribute to POD/Team management, taking ownership of various projects and reporting to senior management.
  • Maintain active communication with stakeholders to manage expectations, ensure deadlines are met, and enhance relationships.
  • Manage, develop, train, and mentor staff on tax projects and assess performance for engagement and year-end reviews.
Qualifications:
  • C.A./MBA (Finance)
  • 5-8+ years of progressive functional experience in a relevant role.
  • Knowledge of Advanced Excel, other tools, and platforms.
  • US taxation principles, procedures, and laws.
  • Corporate taxation principles, procedures, and laws.
  • Internal Audit principles and process.
  • Document and report preparation for management information and control.
  • Accounting systems and software.
  • Understanding of tax operations of shared service organizations and In-house Captive Centers.
  • Learning Agility, Conflict Resolution, Solution Orientation, Team Leadership.
Requirements:
  • Minimum Internet Speed: 50-100 Mbps.
  • Dedicated Home Office Area: Private, quiet workspace.
  • Business Continuity Plan: Power and Internet Backup is a MUST.
