Job Summary

Our company seeks a highly skilled facilities engineer to lead our team in maintaining and improving the upkeep of our industrial facilities. This role involves overseeing the daily operations of the facility, managing maintenance tasks, and ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.

Responsibilities
  • Manage the day-to-day activities of the facilities team, including maintenance and repairs.
  • Coordinate with contractors and vendors to ensure timely completion of projects.
  • Monitor budget expenses and ensure cost-effective solutions are implemented.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives.
  • Ensure the facility is maintained in a safe and clean condition at all times.
Requirements
  • 8-10 years of experience in a senior facilities engineering role.
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
  • Professional license (e.g. PE) is an asset.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Knowledge of building codes and regulations.
  • Proficient in MS Office and other productivity software.
