Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Financial Planning Analyst to join our team at Cognizant Technology Solutions Philippines Inc. In this role, you will be responsible for executing updates to monthly receivable reports using the BWP system and distributing them to the receivable staff in the collection region.

You will also coordinate and chronicle the War Room meetings held monthly/weekly with underwriting staff from various profit centers/divisions and collection staff to resolve issues impeding collection of receivable balances.

Your responsibilities will include updating War Room reports with new data and changes to existing data using the BWP and FS-CD receivable systems in preparation for distribution and meetings.

You will analyze financial data by collecting, monitoring, and creating financial models for decision support.

You will improve financial status by analyzing results; monitoring variances; identifying trends; recommending actions to management.

You will produce identified monthly and quarterly deliverables (data packages, charts, reports).

You will implement reporting and process changes quickly and efficiently with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and deal with time-sensitive targets.

You will provide trends and forecasts; explain processes and techniques; recommend actions by analyzing and interpreting data and making comparative analyses; study proposed changes in methods and materials.

You will increase productivity by developing automated reporting/forecasting tools.

You will develop, communicate, and manage requirements for reporting and serve as point person to facilitate business support.

You will maintain process documentation and recommend improvements to data reporting.

You will fulfill one or multiple tasks which contribute to effective operations management and sustainment. These tasks may be in support of Quality Review, Training, Coaching, Reporting, Escalation, etc.

You will learn and be able to train (team members) on new work types/processes.

You will assist in training new joiners in the existing work type.
