The Decision Support Senior Analyst (Senior Financial Planning Analyst) will play a critical role in the financial planning and analysis in the Commercial Finance & Decision Support function, providing strategic insights and supporting decision-making processes. This role involves analyzing financial data, creating forecasts, and developing financial models to guide the company's financial strategy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development of annual budgets, quarterly forecasts, and long-term financial plans.
  • Support month-end close and all related processes.
  • Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
  • Conduct variance analysis to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
  • Develop and maintain complex financial & pricing models to support strategic initiatives and recommendations to senior management.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather financial data and insights.
  • Provide financial insights and recommendations to senior management.
  • Support ad-hoc financial analysis and special projects as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies.

Qualifications:

  • CPA and Big 4 experience, an advantage but not required.
  • Degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business with Finance concentration.
  • 5+ years of experience in financial planning & analysis, financial modeling, or a related role.
  • Deep understanding of revenue or cost metrics & reporting working in a global organization.
  • Proficiency in financial modeling and forecasting techniques.
  • Understanding of BPO industry Revenue and Billing process.
  • System knowledge: Intermediate Excel, PowerPoint, Oracle Fusion, Hyperion, Peoplesoft.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Experience of achieving results in an international environment, in a centralized function working through regular interactions by email, phone, or video conference with appreciation of differences in culture, time zones, and legal frameworks (preferred).

The aim of the Senior Financial Planning Analyst (Senior Decision Support) is to support the business and be known internally as a value creator through outstanding service and financial expertise.

The Decision Support team prepares and runs management reports with commentaries on trends and variances on Divisional P&L and FTE analysis. The team will support analysis during month-end close and the forecast and budget process, providing initial commentary based on key drivers for FTE, revenue, and costs using trends. They also support loading financial data into the planning tool and finalizing the Hyperion submissions and preparation of the budget presentation material.

Additionally, the team is responsible for deep dive analysis to identify drivers of FTE and cost variances in each division and to aid in identifying risks and opportunities based on the financial results. The team also supports and drives process improvement around financial processes that impact management reporting.

The team delivers timely and quality management reporting to support business decisions and team members. They also support various management projects and initiatives that require finance expertise, whether it be financial modeling, analytics, opinion, research, or leading projects.
