Financial Operations Manager

We are seeking a skilled Financial Operations Manager to oversee and manage our General Ledger and Management Accounting operations.

This role will be responsible for ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting in accordance with IFRS and US GAAP. The ideal candidate will have strong accounting knowledge and experience in handling projects and transitions/migrations.

Responsibilities
  • Manage the General Ledger and Management Accounting organization to ensure efficient operations.
  • Develop and implement processes to improve accuracy and timeliness of financial reporting.
  • Supervise team leads and manage an approximate team of 40+ members.
  • Collaborate with sub-ledger teams to provide comprehensive accounting services.
  • Provide internal customers with financial data and reports.
  • Manage accounting processes to ensure compliance with regulations.
  • Participate in decision-making related to transformation projects, including resource allocation.
  • Main point of contact for operational process discussions and project activities.
  • Escalate issues and perform client management activities.
  • Improve process efficiency and propose ideas to achieve better results.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance & Accounting or a related field is required.
  • Master's degree in Finance/Accounting or CPA license is preferred.
  • 6-8 years of experience in General Ledger Accounting and Management Accounting operations in a management position.
  • Strong background in US GAAP and IFRS.
  • Experience in handling projects and transitions/migrations.
  • Proven track record of building and organizing teams.
  • Fluent English language skills are required.
