Job Title:
Closing Coordinator – Transaction Excellence
About the RoleWe are seeking a skilled Closing Coordinator to join our team and play a critical role in ensuring seamless execution of real estate transactions.
Main Responsibilities:
- Oversee the completion of real estate escrow transactions by meeting all necessary requirements.
- Gather and review essential documents to ensure compliance and accuracy.
- Prepare and review CD/HUD forms using lender instructions, guaranteeing accurate financial calculations and documentation.
- Assemble, prepare, and review closing documents before the designated date to confirm completeness and accuracy.
- Calculate prorated taxes and interest to ensure precise financial disbursements at closing.
- Prepare and distribute checks as part of the closing process, verifying correct allocations and distributions.
- Balance and distribute funds to close escrow accounts, ensuring all financial transactions are accurate and compliant with regulations.
Requirements:
- A minimum of three years of experience as an Escrow Officer, Closing Coordinator, Transaction Coordinator, or Real Estate Paralegal.
- Demonstrated ability to provide exceptional customer service, handling client inquiries and concerns with professionalism and efficiency.
- Familiarity with real estate closing processes and regulatory requirements.
- Clear and confident English communication by phone and email, able to articulate complex information effectively.
- Strong multitasking abilities with a proven track record of efficiently managing multiple tasks and responsibilities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office or Google Workspace.
Working Hours:
Full-time remote contractor (40 hours weekly / 160 hours monthly)
Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 6 PM EST
