Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Fund Accounting Associate to join our team. As a Fund Accounting Associate, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of fund accounting processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Account Analysis: Analyze fund performance on a monthly basis, identifying trends and opportunities for improvement.
  • Securities Knowledge: Gain in-depth knowledge of various securities, including equities, bonds, swaps, options, FX, mortgages, financing, and futures.
  • Compliance: Review and process investor movements to ensure compliance with established procedures, controls, SLA requirements, and client formation documents.
  • Reporting: Accurately book investor activity into technology and ensure compliance with clients' formation documents.
  • Industry Knowledge: Maintain thorough knowledge of industry standards and changes in regulation that affect investor reporting/compliance.
  • Portfolio Pricing: Review and price portfolios in accordance with Firm and Fund pricing policies.
  • Cash Reconciliation: Reconcile cash accounts to statements, identifying and resolving all differences.
  • Position Reconciliation: Reconcile positions/securities to broker statements.
  • Difference Resolution: Research and resolve any differences between the accounting and broker reports.
  • Process Improvement: Establish and execute processes and procedures to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
  • KPI Management: Establish and manage the achievement of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
  • Auditing: Perform daily and monthly auditing of work processes.
  • Reporting: Provide reports as agreed with the Customer.

Quality & Information Security Management

As a Fund Accounting Associate, you will be responsible for adhering to and implementing the company's quality and information security policies and carrying out its processes and procedures accordingly.

You will protect client-supplied and generated client information from unauthorized access, disclosure, modification, destruction, or interference.

Additional responsibilities include carrying out tasks as assigned and aligned with particular processes or activities related to information security.

Finally, you will report any potential or committed non-conformity, observation, and/or security event or risks to your immediate superior.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's/College Degree in Accounting
  • 2-3 years of end-to-end fund accounting focused on Private Equity and/or Hedge Funds
  • Must have an experience in NAV (Net Asset Value)
  • Ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
  • Excellent English, oral, and written communication skills
  • Ability to follow procedures
  • Ability to meet assigned deadlines
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Amenable to work on a night schedule (9 p.m. to 6 a.m.)
  • Amenable to work on a hybrid setup (2-4x RTO/month) in MOA, Pasay
