At our organization, we empower public sector and non-profit leaders with impactful data tools. As a Power BI Architect, you will play a vital role in designing and optimizing data visualization tools that drive informed decision-making.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a passion for developing high-quality, user-friendly visualizations. With at least three years of experience in data analysis, you will leverage your skills to create compelling dashboards and visual stories that bring together various data sources.

  • Student information, including assessments, attendance, enrollment, mobility, grades, special populations, etc.
  • Finance/HR information, including budget monitoring, hiring and vacancies, educator licensure, etc.

Our ideal candidate has a strong foundation in SQL, excellent data-wrangling skills, and a keen eye for detail. You will thrive in a fast-paced work environment, working collaboratively with diverse stakeholders to deliver exceptional results.

What You'll Bring
  • Proven expertise in creating data visualizations using business intelligence software, preferably with experience in Power BI (strongly preferred) and/or significant experience with Tableau.
  • At least 3 years of experience in a role focused on data analysis, including SQL/relational databases.
  • Experience working with data sets in various conditions/formats and which require building relationships across disparate files to create a comprehensive data model.
  • Skilled in cleaning, standardizing, filtering, and transforming data to create datasets ready to be analyzed and displayed graphically.
  • Understands what makes for a compelling visualization, can 'tell a story' using data, and can draw insights from large datasets.
