Responsibilities
  1. Design, qualify, and develop Switch Mode Power Supplies
    • Participate in design conceptualization, schematic generation, mechanical packaging, and PCB layout of assigned projects.
    • Conduct circuit breadboarding, fine tuning, power-up, testing, and verify specifications compliance.
    • Perform Design Verification Tests (DVT) on assigned projects, including circuit simulation and tolerance analysis.
    • Generate Bill of Materials (BOM), focusing on component cost and quality.
    • Perform Failure Analysis on switch mode power supplies.
  2. Ensure parts in the BOM are qualified, preferred, and have multiple sources.
    • Create accurate, error-free test reports and controlled documents.
    • Project planning and organization.
    • Coordinate with support groups on project deliverables.
    • Participate in project meetings and design reviews.
    • Collaborate with support groups.
  3. Provide engineering support to safety, QA, and customers.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Electronics and Communications Engineering.
  • 4+ years relevant experience in:
    • Switch Mode Power Supply Design, including simulation tools in product development and R&D.
    • Knowledge of circuit operation and failure analysis.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Team player.
