Key Responsibilities

This position entails the analysis of engineering drawings and specifications to develop new production processes, ensuring quality outcomes through lean initiatives and continuous improvement principles.

  • Analyze engineering drawings and specifications to design and implement novel production methods.
  • Evaluate existing processes to minimize waste, boost efficiency, and enhance productivity.
  • Implement efficient methodologies and apply ongoing improvement principles to achieve superior performance and quality results.
  • Assist junior engineers in their technical development and support their professional growth.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for customer-related engineering issues and enhancement projects.
  • Collaborate with quality control to establish gauging systems and compliance procedures.
  • Design, validate, and deploy tooling, fixtures, and process equipment.
  • Develop cost-saving initiatives.
  • Ensure adherence to all environmental health and safety practices and standards across the site.

Required Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
  • 3-4 years of relevant experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Familiarity with PLM software applications.
  • Knowledge of industry standards and specifications (AS9100, NAS, BAC, ASTM, MIL).
  • Experience leading complex projects and assignments.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Above-average computer skills.
  • Effective team collaboration and communication skills.
  • A minimum of one year in a current job level/post.
  • No disciplinary actions received for one year.
